Harshita Kejriwal Marries Sambhav Jain in Intimate Delhi Ceremony
On April 18, 2025, Harshita Kejriwal, daughter of former Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal, tied the knot with her college friend, Sambhav Jain, in a private ceremony held at Kapurthala House in Delhi.
A Union Rooted in Academia and Entrepreneurship
Harshita and Sambhav's relationship began during their time at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, where Harshita pursued Chemical Engineering. After graduating in 2018, Harshita worked as an Associate Consultant at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in Gurugram. The couple later co-founded 'Basil Health,' a startup focusing on providing customized healthy meals through automation, inspired by Harshita's personal experiences with unhealthy eating habits during her consulting tenure.
Celebrations Marked by Close-Knit Gatherings
The wedding festivities commenced with a mehendi ceremony on April 17 at the Shangri-La Eros Hotel in Delhi. A video capturing Arvind Kejriwal and his wife, Sunita, dancing to the song "Angaro Ka Ambar Sa" from the film 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' during the engagement has been widely shared on social media.
The wedding ceremony at Kapurthala House was attended by close family and friends, including Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and former Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia. The bride donned a red lehenga with golden embroidery, complemented by traditional jewelry, while the groom wore an off-white sherwani paired with a turban and sunglasses.
Reception and Well-Wishes
A reception is scheduled for April 20, 2025, to celebrate the couple's union. AAP leaders expressed their joy, with MP Sanjay Singh stating, "It is a happy occasion for all of us," and Manish Sisodia adding, "She is our daughter, and I pray to God for her happy life."
The Kejriwal family's celebration reflects a blend of personal joy and professional accomplishments, marking a new chapter in Harshita and Sambhav's lives.
